Gardening helps to instill normalcy in one's life among a supernatural world. By gardening, a character can not only grow flowers to add color to an otherwise drab room, but also gain resilience from supernatural attackers for the rest of the day, and even wield flowers to ward off the supernatural. To begin gardening, your character first needs an empty planter INSTALLed on a rooftop. It's safe to surmise IC that nowhere in Silent Heaven other than rooftops can give delicate flowers a chance of survival. INSTALL PLANTER Up to nine planters can be installed on a single rooftop. After a planter has been installed, you're able to plant a seed in the empty soil by typing PLANT SEED. PLANT SEED Lastly, once it's planted, be sure to tend to it by typing TEND. TEND Tending to a garden will water and weed the first planter on the roof that hasn't been tended yet. Be sure to return to your garden on a daily basis and TEND to as many flowers as you can, or else they'll wither away and die. The longer you tend to a flower, the more resilient it'll be against withering. However, once it's reached a new stage of development, it'll be delicate again. There's a maximum number of planters each character can tend to in a day. Usually, you can type TEND once per minute to tend to each planter on a rooftop. However, if you want to tend to a specific planter, you can specify which one you'd like to tend to by including its number. For example, to tend to the third planter, type TEND 3. TEND 3 When a flower has lived long enough, it'll be ready to be clipped. This will be done automatically by your character and it'll be added to their inventory.
