Vandalism
Vandalism allows one to add colorful messages to a room.
To begin vandalizing, your character first needs to be holding a vandalism chest. Then, type VANDALIZE.
VANDALIZE
You'll choose from six different pre-written messages, or write your own vandalism. Vandalism can be a very effective tool for generating non-violent conflict. Not all vandalism needs to be negative, though. You may decorate a room with positive intentions through vandalism.
Some other actions will also create messes in a room, such as overeating or bloody violence.
Any character may clean up vandalism by holding a cleaning bucket and typing CLEAN.
CLEAN
If there are multiple messes in a room, you can specify which mess you'd like to clean up by including a number. For example, to clean the third mess in a room, type CLEAN 3
CLEAN 3
Large messes, such as vandalism, will require multiple characters working together to clean up a mess. Members of the Guides get a big bonus to cleaning up messes due to their access to cleaning resources and the general nature of their goal in Silent Heaven.
In addition to messes in rooms, clothes can become stained through a variety of means. To clean clothes, drop all the clothes you want to clean into a room -- you can't clean clothes you're wearing! Then, have your character hold a cleaning bucket. Your character will use the cleaning bucket as a washboard when you type LAUNDER.
LAUNDER
Just like large messes in rooms, large stains on clothes will require multiple characters working together to get the stains out. Members of the Hopefuls get a big bonus to doing laundry due to their experience with tailoring and care for clothing.
Will your character try to clean up Silent Heaven? Or make a mess of it?
