Work

Silent Heaven is a game with a focus on roleplay and storytelling. Most jobs are ones you can get from NPCs, which involve roleplaying and using your character's skills from time to time. However, sometimes you may experience downtime without any RP. In your downtime, you may choose to have your character earn a small amount of cash doing automated, dissociative work at a worksite. You can work in places that are designed for working. There is an OOC note in rooms where work is available. If you can't find one, ask around IC. To work, type WORK. WORK To stop working, type STOP. STOP Work is automatic and it pays your character cash over time, but workplaces are dangerous! Only work if your character is willing to risk being attacked. Because WORK is intended to be a dissociative experience, going idle at a workplace is allowed. However, you may come back to find your character dragged out onto the street and beaten up for their lunch money. Make sure you're comfortable with this outcome before working.
