Basic movement is done by traversing through locations in Silent Heaven using the cardinal directions: north, south, east, and west, plus up and down. To move, simply type any direction: NORTH WEST DOWN To make movement easier, you can type the first letter of each direction: N W D If you know the path you want to take, you can chain movements together with GO (directions). GO N W D To make it even easier on you, you don't need to type GO, nor do you need to type any spaces between the letters. To go north, then west, then down, you can type: NWD All movement uses these six letters only: N, S, E, W, U, and D. There are a few paths in Silent Heaven that are vertical descents where the only option is to plummet down and hope for the best. Some others are precarious, requiring a climbing item in your character's inventory to cross. Getting a running start will give a better chance at climbing, so try chaining two movements together when attempting to climb. If your character moves around a lot or does multiple high-energy actions in a very short period of time, you may need to wait a moment to recover your energy. However, you'll always be able to walk around at the very minimum. You can LOOK in a specific direction to have your character check if any other characters are there. For example, to look to the east, type: LOOK E Lastly, if you just want an overview of who's in the room you're currently in, you can type GLANCE HERE. "Here" always refers to the room you're in.
