Waypoints

Sometimes your character will take the same day-to-day paths. Typing all the movement commands can becomes long and tedious over long distances. To aid with that, your character can commit these common commutes to memory with Waypoints, allowing your character to automatically move between them. To start creating a waypoint, first think of a one-word name, then type WAYPOINT (name). For example, if you want to give your character's hotel room a waypoint named "hotel," type: WAYPOINT HOTEL After creating a waypoint, you can begin making a route to another location by typing ROUTE. ROUTE Then, move to your destination. You can type each direction by itself, or on a single line. For example, to make a route that goes down, west, north, then west, type: DWNW Once the movement finishes, set your destination waypoint in the same way you did the first one: WAYPOINT CAFE Not all paths back are the same directions in reverse, so if you want to connect the routes in both directions, start by typing ROUTE again and move back to the other waypoint. ROUTE ESEU When you arrive at an already existing waypoint, you'll get a notification before the room name that the route has been completed. Now you can travel back and forth on these routes. To travel automatically, type TRAVEL (waypoint name). For example, to travel from the Hotel waypoint to the Cafe waypoint, type: TRAVEL CAFE Your character moves automatically. To stop traveling or making a new route, type STOP. STOP To review your routes and waypoints, type WAYPOINTS or WP for short. WAYPOINTS To delete a waypoint, type WAYPOINT (name). For example, to delete the waypoint named Hotel, type: WAYPOINT HOTEL Type it again to confirm deletion. This will remove the waypoint and all routes to and from it. Each base level your character has in Sprint and Travel adds 2 Waypoints to your character's maximum Waypoints. Category: HELP 2 (Movement) < Previous - Quit | Next - Describe >
