Phrasing

CHARACTER SHEETS ARE OOC INFO The information on your character sheet is for your reference only. For example, your character doesn't know the exact word-for-word description of someone's voice or gait. Do not use the exact phrasing of those as a way to identify a character. When you need to communicate your skill level to another character, or describe the difficulty of a task, use the adage of "show, don't tell." Demonstrate, through RP, your character's skill or the task's difficulty. Do not use the words on your character sheet or level numbers to convey information. Instead, consider saying things IC like, "A solid two weeks of dedicated practice and I'm sure you'll have a good handle on it." Two weeks at 5 XP per day is 70 XP, which is more than enough XP to level up a skill from level 1 to level 4. Category: HELP P (Policy) < Previous - Inebriation | Next - Advancement >
